Chesapeake Urology Associates Scholarship
Students pursuing degrees in pre-medicine, nursing, or other health fields are eligible for awards up to $5,000. This organization also offers more than 20 other scholarships (details on their website). Students need to complete the application once, and they are automatically considered for all of the programs for which they are eligible. The organization also offers an interest-free loan opportunity.

Eligibility: Undergraduates pursuing degrees in pre-medicine, nursing, or other health fields; must have a GPA of 3.0
Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on demonstrated commitment to the medical field, financial need and academic achievement.

Eligibility: Single, never married, never have given birth to a child, US citizen, at least a 6-month resident of Maryland, at least 14 years of age but under 19 years of age as of Feb. 1, 2011.

Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC)
Award: Full tuition and other financial benefits worth up to $225,600. A four-year active duty obligation is required.
Eligibility: U.S. citizen, at least 17 and not older than 23 by June 30, 2010, SAT scores of 520 math and 530 verbal or be in the top 10% or graduating class.
